The things you realize as you get older

I eat a lot of chocolate. I love chocolate, and I'm not ashamed.

I buy this chocolate a lot. It's Ritter Sport (WTF kind of name is that?), and it's the dark chocolate with hazelnuts. It is shown here paired with cheap white wine (with a cool label), from Trader Joes.

I had a good realization today about this chocolate. I don't like it. I don't even really know what it tastes like and probably could never identify it in a blind taste test. But, I LOVE hazelnuts, so I eat it because I try to get as many hazelnuts per bite as possible. I eat around the chocolate to get to the hazelnuts.

From now on, I will buy hazelnuts and spend my calories on ice cream and expensive Trader Joe's wine.

More on this to come.
